Consider your accommodation options before registering for ALT8: Accommodation. If you chose to stay in the dorm, you will have to select that option during the registration process.
Scholarships for ALT8
ALT has a limited amount of funds to provide support for a number of ALT members attending the ALT8 Conference. Financial support is available for members whose abstract has been accepted (oral presentation or poster), and will be awarded on the basis of financial need of the applicant.
ALT members wishing to apply for financial support should send an application to the Secretary-Treasurer before April 23rd at jean-christophe.verstraete@arts.kuleuven.be. The application should consist of a brief statement (one paragraph) explaining why the applicant considers herself/himself to be in need of financial assistance, and an estimate of the costs to be covered.
ALT scholarships are intended for scholars from developing countries and for students anywhere.

As was indicated in the call for abstracts, presenters are expected to be members of ALT. If you are not a member, please join at the ALT website:

Non-members will be contacted by the Secretary-Treasurer and urged to complete their membership before the conference begins.
